ABOUT THE PROJECT
Set within a coastal bushland setting in Agnes Water, the residence is designed to sit quietly amongst its surroundings while opening toward distant ocean views. A grounded palette of dark timber, muted masonry and soft neutral surfaces allows the architecture to recede into the landscape, drawing cues from the tones of bark, earth and shadow.
Low, articulated building forms and sheltered entry spaces create a sense of arrival, while carefully positioned openings frame views through the trees to the coast beyond. The result is a calm, site-responsive home that balances privacy, outlook and a strong connection to its natural environment.
